The Baboró International Arts Festival for Children is seeking to recruit an ambitious and energetic Executive Artistic Director with a vision for the future of Baboró. ASSITEJ Germany is pleased to announce the grant program for the Next Generation (NG) in the frame of the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering (AAG15), taking place at Augenblick mal! – The German festival of theatre for young audiences. The festival is hosted by the German children’s and young people’s theatre centre (Kinder- und Jugendtheaterzentrum in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland) and will take place in Berlin from April 21st to 26th of 2015. The biennial festival Augenblick mal! is the only national festival of theatre for young audiences in Germany.
“A Policy on Professional Theatre for Young Audiences describes the specifics of theatre for young audiences in terms of creation, attendance, presentation and audience support. The document presents an overview and looks at the various aspects requiring action to consolidate achievements and ensure the practice develops harmoniously.”
