The winter solstice celebrates the longest hours of darkness during the year, or what some refer to as the rebirth of the sun. To celebrate the solstice the Creation Warehouse at Theatre Direct is inviting our community to parade with us and our large scale puppet, the Wintertide Dragon! The Wintertide Dragon will wind its way through the Davenport & St. Clair West neighbourhood of Toronto in a glorious procession ending at Earlscourt Park. Children can register to participate in the parade with their family and friends, carrying solstice lanterns and singing songs to bring joy and light to the longest night. Join us and be a part of it all!
When: December 21st, 2022
Where: Earlscourt Park and St. Clair West, Toronto
